need your advice , im doing the italeri stryr ro/1 tractor kit no 227 , but i misplace the tracks can anyone help me atall or can i get them anywhere ? or can i somehow make them up from another tank kit ? im a newbe, so like your advice many thanks bob

Fruilmodel make a set but they are expensive.

Yeah, you can get them for between $26 & $32, depending upon your local supplier, but, boy, do they make a nice addition to the kit. They really capture the look & sag of the real thing much better than most of us can do with the old vinyl tracks.

In the UK, or anywhere in fact, I believe the set sold by Accurate Armour is the cheapest.

The most expensive is WW2 Productions set, but that does include sprockets and other extras.

Losing the original ones is probably the best thing you can do with them in many modellers minds. They are pretty bad and are best depicted covered in mud, but you'll still have to use the pins or thread methods to replicate the track sag, unless of course you do spring for after market track.

If money is an issue put up a wanted advert, after all with so many disliking the originals and buying after market they will have the originals lying around spare.
