Hello all
Bought myself a Canon S5 IS as I thought it was a good compromise between a point and shoot and a DSLR. I was just wondering should I get the adapter and filters, particularly the macro filters which I've seen in sets of 2x,4x and 6x. Has anyone ever used them and are they useful?

Brett,
Heck yea you should!!! I have a Sony DSC-H2 (was seriously time to upgrade my HP715) and bought the "filters" you are referring to. However, I rarely, rarely use the 2x and 4x and occasionally use the 6x. What I wound up doing is buying the 10x. Now that one I use all the time. For the cost versus what you get, definitely get them.
Contact me via PM and I can give you the details of the eBay seller I bought my stuff from...he carries a wide variety of lenses/filters for a slew of manufacturers (nope, not affiliated with him, just like his products and service).
