Sadly Steve (BARV) Cruickshank passed away suddenly on the 18th of August after making these last postings on the net. He was clearly working his magic up to the last days.

You can see some of the fine tributes on the page below. I only knew the man a very short time but he did help to pass on some imagination into a lot of modellers like myself still trying to learrn.

Russell, Dad was in the process of remoulding the wheels as they didn't have the right no. of studs and tread. I think he used resin.

Fernando, I'm not sure on the details but next time I go over to see my mum will have a look up in the loft. Send me a P-M and will see what I can do to help
