What is the best method to "finish" natural metal aircraft? I have a P-38 covered with Al foil, paint, and decals, and I usually like to seal the paint and decals with some sort of sealer. Right now I have called it "done", but I am little concerned the decals might lift off over time, yellow, etc.
Thanks.

I would clear coat the decals being sure to get along the edges to seal them to the foil. Clearing the whole model might be advisable as well, keep the foil from further scratching and finger prints.
You might also consider applying a bit of car wax to it. Test on a piece of foil to be sure...use care around decals...light touch even if they are sealed.
