Heya everyone..Just wondering what sites on the web sell tools and supplies for good prices?

Im ordering my airbrush and compressor from Dixie...but I still need to stock up on the rest of the stuff.. I have long misplaced all my modelling equipment and need to restock on all my supplies..

I remember Squadron selling stuff and just wondering if any new sites around.. thanks.

Micromark is outstanding. They told me I would have my stuff in four business days. Two days later I had my stuff. Service and selection are excellent and they have more tools than you can shake a stick at.

Depends on what you are looking for, I suppose. What are you looking for, btw?

My "local" hobby store is an hour drive one way. So, I make a bimonthly paint run. I buy most of my basics there. Squadron is still around. I think MicroMark has about the best selection. VLS carries Vallejo and paints.

For some eqt like xacto, dremels, saw, try your local hardware stores. You can find craft acrylics and other dio related stuff at the larger craft stores like Michaels.

I recently bought WN #7 Mini's thru www.budgetart.com. Best price I have ever seen on WN #7's.

You could also try Hometown Hobbies. Bill has started stocking many more tools and supplies, and can ususally get what you need if he doesnt staock it already.Plus, he's a fellow modeler.

There is also interesting stuff to be found at American Science & Surplus http://www.sciplus.com They have lots of stuff, and when they say something is good, it usually is, and if it's crap, they'll say that too. Ya gets hwat ya pays for, and service has be fairly good when I've ordered.

I ordered with micro-mark several times. Nice products, good price. Customs and shipping costs can be quite high, though and sometimes electric tools can't be used if you don't live in the US. (different power)...
