Hello
Yes the Title sounds like something your parents would say to you as a child, in a shop for example, but recently "with the exeption of my wife to be and her mum" ive found myself saying it to the non-modelers to whom ive shown my first dio. It was also during the build process that the people id show my modeling progress to would almost instantly want to touch - just to see if the grass was real ,the little soldier helmet was really stuck on ,or just how strong the tank really is
Am i the only one whos had these experiences? am i being petti
Id love to hear your comments on personal experiences youve had with these non-modelers,,,,, or "dare i say it" a fellow modeler touching your work ,,,,,,, Andy

Yes, I think this kind of thing happens quite frequently, maybe human nature, just like posting a WET Paint sign on somthing you have just finished painting...Frist thing someone will do is TOUCH IT to see if it really wet paint.

Some years back, SWMBO took her mother to a regional I was involved with. As they were looking at the figures, MiL reaches over to touch the sword of a mounted figure. Fortunately, nothing was broken.

my brother likes to show his mates the models i have built. which is nice but they often are interested in "does this move?" then poke it and snap! i got fed up with fixing bits so i build a website with a gallery so they can all look but cant touch!! the poster at the bottom of my post links to my site.
