I have been looking at a Polaroid M737T
7 MP digital camera w/ 3X optical zoom and 4x digital zoom
3in touchscrean with image stabilization
Would this camera do for our hobby?

Good question on macro. I just read off what I saw on the flyer. I will have to try and check on macro or super macro settings.

A couple of other important things to consider are the power supply and download compatibility with your computer platform.
Are the batteries common and easily available retail and price?
Is the memory card and/or hard line port compatible with your computer and download app.? Or at least available to work with your local photo image processing facility.

Thanks for bringing up those points. I'll write them down and go look over a live camera and check all the features you have brought up.
