For the first time ever, AMPS has over 800 members (805 to be exact). This is a real milestone for us; we didn't expect to grow as fast as we have. We've been breaking membership records for six months now but getting over the 800 mark is very cool.

AMPS membership includes member discounts at 20 (count 'em, 20) hobby merchants, up from about a dozen just a few months ago.

Boresight, the club journal, is bigger and better than ever. The next issue will be out in a few weeks.

New AMPS chapters have been started in Mexico City, Ottawa, LA, Chicago, New Mexico, and other areas. If you are looking to start a tank modeling club, consider becoming an AMPS chapter. It's free, it's fun, and you improve a lot faster when you can work with a friend or two.

A new AMPS show is happening in Atlanta this February. Drop by if you can.

AMPS has also sent over 1,500 kits and hundreds of supply items to coalition troops in Iraq. We're currently looking for M1 tank kits and tools to send over, but we will send any kit you donate. You do not need to be a member to donate. See our web site for details.

Danny, I've been a member for a couple of years now and always look forward to the next issue of Boresight. The last one was especially good with the interview with the German WWII tanker and can't wait to read the rest in the next issue.
