what music do you model to?
bit of spanish flamenco, or maybe you love slipknot, lets hear it!

my tastes:
Metallica most albums
Pink floyd: the wall parts one and two, and so many times i pick up the guitar and jam along instead of asembling my kits.
Tenacious D, Is your sherman getting you down, put on some laughs!
Queen! (now and again, when i can be bothered to take my record deck to my workspace!) i love the earliest and latest.

Ola Jimmy

Differs a bit for me. I see myself as a proud owner of a big music collection. over 500 CD's and growing. I'm a big fan of the WHO and I listen to that a lot. Got a big load of 60's and 70's music which I really like to listen to. It often depends how my mood is. I like to hear Nirvana, NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly. Other sorts of Punk. I got pretty much every CD of Dutch Underground hip Hop Groups, Sometimes I listen to some syntesiser, I really like to hear the music of Everlast, House of Pain, moviesoundtracks, Band of Brothers. I got everything from the Beatles on CD and a lot on records. I like the music of Dylan, I like Johnny Cash. But something more modern like the Gorillaz, Leaf, the Prodigy or Dutch groups like Acda en de Munnik, de Poema's, de Dijk and van Dik Hout
Usually what I listen is a musical trip through the ages from 50's to present day

Not really a very clear answer I know... but it is how it is

With friendly greetings

I have over 800 CD's/concert DVD's to choose from, just depends what mood I'm in. Mainly 70's rock bands and some here and there but my collection tapered off some time ago when rock as I know it either changed or no longer exists.

Boston, Roadmaster, Shooting Star, Kansas, Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Def Leppard, KISS ... you get the idea.

Jimmy: I'm a bit lazy myself so what ever is on the radio. Mostly older (60's,70's) rock, or I'll listen to classical music.

NPR podcasts of Wait Wait Dont Tell Me, This American Life, or Car Talk.

Too many times I'd be Ipod Shuffle mode and get into a good groove modeling to some Bob Segar or semi-mellow stuff and then get slammed with a fast paced kick butt song that destroved my vibe.

Shuffling through the Segar or Zevon does pretty well for me too.

Jimmy Buffet, but then I want to put down the model and go drink...

Usually a local hard rock radio channel called bandit radio. When I play CDs, Black Sabbath would be a band IŽd listen most to, but could even be Melissa Etheridge or Irish folk music, depending on the mood.
For you guys that listen to rock music .... watch out for a new(ish) Swedish band called Mustach. Brilliant!!

Right now I just leave the TV on. But there are times with I see myself using my Ipod and letting it shuffle thorugh my library. Mostly classic rock with a few of the 80's classics and other assorted tunes sprinkled in for effect.

My over all favorites are Pink Floyd, Led zeppelin, Ozzy(Black Sabbath), The Beatles, AC/DC, etc, etc, etc.
