There was a model show in Columbia SC this past weekend (May 4th). It's not a real big show but a very friendly group of modelers. I live in North Carolina ,but I find it really interesting that a State as small as South Carolina would have a group of thriving clubs in it's three major cities and more on the way. The SCMA Club in Greenville SC had it's first show in March and it was so packed you could hardly move.

The show had a small showing in the armor category but it's growing. It's actually inspired me to either start a IPMS Chapter in my own town or Join with these guys.

I guess it's just great to be around a bunch of people that are interested in the same thing I am....Plastic! The more interest that we can't generate in building models, the more money that the industry will make and the more kits and accessories we will have access to.
