Have just found out ---the hard way ---that the Grey Primer now being sold by Halfords is ..... ..."ACRYLIC BASED"......

Used their primer for many years as my undercoat ---and though nothing of buying ia few more cans as my old stock was finished.....only to find it reacted with my Humbrol enamels---sheesh! So I guess Acrylic guys will be pleased to have a nice base coat now

So...........................
Did try to finish off the paint job ...just to get the feel of the layout ....but after it all started to go horribly wrong every time I went near it --decided to send it to Mr Muscle ..clean it out and try again ..........hand not so steady these days
