Anyone down in the Charleston, SC area? Do they ever have model shows down here?

I'm in Statesboro, GA, between Savannah and Augusta... Never heard of any shows or clubs in the low country, but it'd be nice to have something.

There is a local club in the Charleston area but I haven't been in contact with anyone yet. Don't really get into the club meeting thing.

Yep, been a ham for about 8 years now. Still waiting to get off my butt and upgrade to general, especially since they dropped the morse code. No real budget for an HF radio so I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe later this year.

I've never really been part of a modelling club, just worked by myself. It might be cool to go to a meet where I can see other people's work, but I would have trouble with making scheduled meetings fit my work schedule (nights in the ICU)
