I have a Maquette Valentine and I am trying to put the decals on. When I try to remove the decal from the backing, the decals automatically "ball" up on themselves and form a blob. Is there any way to "fix" this so I can handle the decals enough to get them on the model? It is definitely much more difficult than DML or Tamiya decals. If not, no worries, as the kit is a POS.

Start the decal a little bit, set on model then slide the backing out while holding tip of decal on model.

Thanks. I will see what I can do. The decals seem only to stick to the backing and themselves.
