Otter,
If you mean insert an image into a topic (thread), then sure. You can either use BB code (see FAQ link below) or plain HTML using an IMG tag. HTML example below:

Code:

<img src="https://armorama.kitmaker.net/images/avatar/000.gif">

Welcome to the site!

Jim,

Do you have something against jpeg files?? I couldn't get one to load up in my bio. When I save the changes it stripped it out. I know I'm not the best looking bloke, but I thought filters like that were difficult to make...

Hmm....I don't think so.

Just make sure you are using the .jpg extension and not .jpeg.

Brian,
Ahh...well in that case they (the software developers) probably did add a jpg filter for that bio text string. I might be able to remove it.

I fixed it manually in the database. Amazing what you can do that way.

After you went in and manually changed the the image, I went back and edited my signature since what you did changed things around a little bit, but the stripping code was very effective! It probably won't allow me to keep that pic there when I need to change&save things there....

I've been using .jpeg here without a problem all along...

I thought it was an Elton John look-a-like... Brian, I was expecting big beard and helmet with horns... Those modern Vikings...

Hunter,
I'm with Maki on this one. I was expecting the horned helmet. :-)

Gunnie,

As it has been said before, it's probably my swedish computer

Jim, Maki, Lady

I'll see what I can do about the beard and helmet...

I do sing, but that is probably the closest I'll ever get to being like Elton John...as for mega-star Jr...him I'll never be anything like :-)

I don't think the absence of a horned helmet is really a bad thing. I mean, if I saw that I'd expect him to be holding one of those giant half-gallon beer steins and singing along to an old folk tale or something......
