A poster w/pseudonym: Tom Harper ([email protected]) just posted a "for sale" listing over on Track Link. Offering a 1/48 M10 Tamiya Tank Destroyer

He's like a virus on the lip. Can't get rid of him.

Here are previous aliases of this perennial scumbag:

The draw back with guys like this, they never stop. They just keep moving around and around. It is good for the warnings about him. People like him ruin things for the rest of us. It makes a person just want to forget about dealing with private sellers online.

People like this are vindicated by the Law. Even if they are caught, they will receive no more than a slap on the wrist, and are sent home after being told 'not to do it again'... I understand that it is known where he lives, who he is, what his Modus Operandi is, and there is a list of evidence (with witnesses) the lenght of a toilet roll.... Why then, do the police not act? Because they can't be bothered, and because it takes time away from revenue raising subjects, such as catching speeding cars...

In the UK a burglar can sue the home owner if he gets hurt during the burglary...
People driving with out a licence, insurance and tax are sent home with a paltry fine, and get a driving ban... how that is going to deter somebody who was driving without a licence in the first place is beyond me...
I could go on, but I'm going off topic to far already...

back to Ken Meyer hunting.

Wow, unbelievable.....

I've never been burned by this guy and I hope I never will. All we can do is keep warning each other and watch who you trust. Someday, somewhere, somehow, he'll get his just reward......

You can run his name or email addresses either here or on ML and read away, whole lot of info on him.

With the multiple aliases, addresses and email addys that this guy uses, how do you know that it's him? I'm not defending the guy or anything. Just curious as to how his identity was determined.

To begin with, the lowlife lives in Houston, Texas. So if you are dealing with someone from Houston you're not familiar with, check them out before doing business. I know that's hard on any honest Houston guys, but until this bum stops or is stopped you have to be careful. Thankfully there are quite a few people out there in cyber-space who know about this sleaze now and he usually gets recognized fairly quickly. (thanks Roy!)

Well, in the latest case, he himself posted an email address used in scams previously. That's what caught my attention-- [email protected].
