If you and I live long enough we may actually see the "Great Grandson of Sherman."
I had real teeth and hair when I pre-ordered Son of Sherman.

Hard to believe this was an $18 book back in the day. Great reference and Sherman primer, but the kit list is extremely dated due to the tremendous amount of Sherman kits that are now available.

What you say is very true Rob, but if its anything like the Tiger book, thereīs still a wealth of relevant and useful information. Ive never seen the sherman book so canīt comment on that one.

It is a great reference as I stated. The kit list is such a small part of the book. It reads more like a historical document listing what Sherman kits and accessories were available at the time of publication. There is a wealth of Sherman knowledge within the pages, but only regarding hull, track, suspension, road wheels, etc. Nothing at all about turrets.
The kit build ups are done by master modelers. Great work there, although many of the conversions and scratchbuilding shown in the build articles are now available as OOB kits, the articles are still valuable and show techniques that are top notch.
I can't see paying the $50-75 that they go for on eBay and private seller lists.
