I have lurked and benefited from articles and advice for a while and thought I should introduce myself.

I am 56, married with 3 children, 1 grandchild. They will all be grown shortly. My two sons are (hopefully) graduating from college next month so they can get off "Daddy's payroll". I've been a prosecutor for 11 years and prior to that was a criminal defense attorney for 18 years (I have a lot of bad karma to work off there).

I have built models, mostly military, on and off since I was 10, and hopefully will have time at this stage of my life to get more serious with it.

Hopefully, I will be able to contribute something intelligent to the discussions, although I think I will take a lot more than I give.

Great site.

Gday Steve
A warm welcome from Australia mate. I know how you feel in regards to taking more than giving. It will only happen at first, and then your experiences will bear fruit, and the cycle will continue!
I read somewhere that you can work off bad karma by building Shermans, I believe.

Being from the South, I''ve never been fond of Shermans, but I will give it a try.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi, Steve, I can understand your feelings about Shermans, Sheridans, and Grants. However there is always the M3 Stuart and M3 Lee for a southern gentleman to build.

Those I could definitely live with. Thanks for the suggestions.

Welcome Steve,

This is a great site. Help is just a click away if you ever need it.

Be sure to check out the campaigns. They are usually a lot of fun to participate in.
