Yes, the Esci M60A3TTS is kit #5040. I do not know the exact date of initial issue, but my decals have April 1990 on them. My boxing of the M60 Blazer is in the AMT/Ertl (blue box) and it is virtually the same kit with IDF components added. For some reason, over here in the US you could buy the AMT boxing of the Blazer for $4.99 at clearance stores in the mid-90s.

Compare this to the Italeri boxing of the M60 Blazer that is currently on the shelves for $20-30. I have seen the Italeri M60A1 on the shelves with the Italeri M60 Blazer, but have not seen the rumored M60A3 yet.

The old ESCI M60A3 kit is marketed in Europe under Revell brand, for around 27.-€.
I bought my ESCI M60A1 and M60A1 Blazer on a fleemarket for 8.-$ each, a few years ago.

I recently bought Mini Hobby Models IDF M60A1 Blazer with mine roller which includes Tamiya's M60A3 and parts from Academy...

I just ran across the Revell of Germany M60A3 at my local shop (they had 3). The price on the box was $29.95 (I get 20% off there). Right next to it was the Italeri M60A1 that I mentioned above. It was $34.95. With the exception of the decals, box and instructions, the two kits are identical. Go figure at the price difference at the same shop. BTW, the RoG kit box was twice as big as the Italeri box. It was the same size as the RoG PzHbtz 2000.

Also, good buys there Werner. Remind me to go shopping with you!

Just saw where Squadron has the RoG A3...USD 27.47.
The Italeri Blazer is USD 24.96, the A1 is USD 29.96.

I am kind of happy now...those old ESCI A3s on Ebay that I lost, average price of 55 bucks...LOL!

Back when I was stationed at Redstone Arsenal, AL, the Big Lots (or was it Odd Lots?) carried AMT/Ertl tank kits for $4.99. I remember the T-55, Ti-67 and the M60 Blazer there as well as this big huge AMT/Ertl XB-70 limited edition bomber for $9.99. This would have had to been from 1996-1998. I bought one of each and always kicked myself for not buying more of the M60 kits.
