Hi guys,
I'm trying to track down back issues of VEG magazine for a modelling friend of mine in the US of A. I need to get issues 1, 2, 3, 5 & 7. I will of course pay any costs involved.
I tried emailing the people at their email address and got no reply. Are they still in existence?
Thanks
Tony

Hey guys,

See my post here little bit more than a year back... VEG - Are they still around?!

Having not heard anything since, I must assume they never did manage to revive the magazine or bring out the new one.

Rudi

p.s. Tony, let me have a think about it... I may be prepared to sell the entire lot off... but as I said... lemme think about it first...

I spoke to Pierre on friday and told him to can the magazine as if it didnt sell back then it wouldnt sell now. He is jetting of to Malaysia early next week so he wont be arround for three or so weeks. He still has a number of magazines at home so just give him a ring and he will help you. Just phone after 6 because then he and his wife will be home.

I spoke to Pierre and Ronel on wednesday 16th and she confirmed that she has the copies that I am seeking. she has promised to send them to me and I have paid the money required into their bank account on thursday 17th.
Let's see how things turn out. I will keep everyone posted on this, and we will see how it turns out.

Hi guys,
Just a followup to the VEG backissue request. Ronel promised to post the issues that I wanted, and she did a very nice job of it too. They arrived as promised today, in excellent condition and I am more than happy and extend my thanks to Ronel and everyone else who helped me.
These are good people!

Tony,

I have to agree my old bud and his wife are some of the best people around. Sadly they were not well supported and that is why the magazine did not do well.

We are however working on books for all you Saffer treadheads. We will cover Ratel, Olifant and Rooikat in seperate books similiar to the Osprey and Verlinden detial books with alot of info and never before seen photos. I have most of Rooikat, which was done previously by someone else for Pierre, which I just have to rework, update and send back to him so we can publish it. Olifant will then follow and Ratel will be last.

Keep an eye peeled people. More to follow.
