Hi there from NW Spain. I´m a Brit who has been living here for the last 12 years. Very impressed with Armorama. Here in Spain the standard of modelling is very high although there are very few of us. Therefore I am somewhat isolated and rely almost totally on the internet to both buy and keep informed. Modelling here is very generalised and armor modelling is usually German WW2.... My own interest is British/US armor and softskins both WW2 and Gulf, engineer vehiclesand SP artillery. Historically i'm heavily into ACW,WW2, the gulf conflicts, 19th C. naval warfare, the Peninsula Campaigns and the Vietnam war. I have also been known to build US carrier aircraft.... I´ve no doubt I will be using this site a lot i tseems very friendly..... Jim

Hi Jim, welcome to this wonderful site
I also like US carrier aircraft (any aircraft actually), if you are talking about modern Engineer equipment, I was a combat enginner and one of my brothers was an armourd engineer. He commanded an AVLB with mine ploughs, towing a giant viper, in the Gulf. Now that would make some model :-)

Howdy from Texas. I too am interested in the American Civil War. Did 5 years of re-inacting until my unit starting attracting the bigots and my hearing started going from all the shooting. As you stated it's a very friendly site and I'm sure you'll have fun with it and us
