Great actor, I watched him recently in The Last Wagon as Comanche Todd. Tough actor with great delivery.

My favourite film of his was The Bedford Incident. That seasoned yet just a wee bit crazy destroyer captain was a landmark role for him. His work was always very good.

Sad to see him go. There was a good article about him on http://wsws.org . Today's movies just don't have ..... an intelligent script........and a plot..........
