Hey Brian,
The Hobbycraft A4C Skyhawk, is it the “Vietnam" boxing w/ MIG in the background. If so I’m interested. What kit do you think is better, the ESCI or Hobbycraft. I know of the ESCI kit, but never seen the other one. What’s your thought.

Hi Joe,
The hobby craft kit is the one with the Mig in the background. Both kits in my opinion are decent. The Hobby craft kit has all recessed lines while the ESCI (it may be an old Fugimi mold) has recessed lines on the fuselage but the wings have a mix of raised and recessed lines. I suspect the decals for the ESCI kit may not work to well considering their age.
I built the ESCI 1/72 scale down version for the "Falklands" and it turned out okay but I also sanded off the raised lines on the wings and rescribed them.
Sincerely,
Brian
