Just to let you know, the second edition of the Airfix Cup will be held from 4 June to 7 June at the Air Force Museum.
Take your planes out, build them and bring them down!

AIRFIX CUP aka National Aeronautical Model Engineering Competition 2008
Date: 3 - 7 June 2008
Venue: Air Force Museum (Paya Lebar AB)
Subject: Any scale model of any type of aircraft i.e. aeroplanes and helicopters.
Categories:
- Master Class - For all previous model competition winners and professional modellers i.e. paid on comission or salaried to build models.
- Senior - Modelers aged above 16 as of 3 June 2008 and excludes the above.
-Junior - Modelers aged 16 and below as of 3 June 2008.
Prizes:
- Master Class 1st: $200 Hobby Bounties (HB) voucher, trophy and gifts
- Master Class 2nd: $100 HB voucer, trophy and gifts
- Master Class 3rd: $50 HB voucher, trophy and gifts
- Master Class 4th - 15th: Trophy and gifts
- Senior 1st: $150 HB voucher, trophy and gifts
- Senior 2nd: $100 HB voucer, trophy and gifts
- Senior 3rd: $50 HB voucher, trophy and gifts
- Senior 4th - 15th: Trophy and gifts
- Junior 1st: $150 HB voucher, trophy and gifts
- Junior 2nd: $100 HB voucer, trophy and gifts

2. Each entry must come with an entry form available at HB, Achtung Japan Hobby, Central Hobby Plus, Hobby Focus and ARMIE.
3. Model must be built, painted and finished by the person stated on the entry form.
4. Models submitted from past competitions will be rejected.
5. All entries must be delivered between 12 noon and 8pm from 3 June to 5 June and from 12 noon to 2pm on 6 June to the Air Force Museum.
6. No entries will be entertained after 2pm on 6 June.
7. All entries will be on display from 2pm on 4 June to 7 June.
8. Prize presentation will be held on 7 June at 2pm.
9. All models are to be collected immediately after the prize presentation.
10. Entries will be judged based on OVERALL APPEAL, CONSTRUCTION, FINISH, CREATIVITY AND REALISM.
