Just thought I'd throw this out there. I was watching the new series "Axmen" on History Channel last night. Logging is something I know very little about, so it was pretty intriguing.

Most surprising of all was the Sherman tank chassis that made up the Pihl Logging Company's Yarder machine. The all red paint job threw me off at first, but the suspension gave it away in short order.

Seems like an interesting scratchbuilding opportunity for the bold!

I was watching that last night when he got that stuck. I was thinking, why are the tracks so narrow. Now it makes perfect sense, it’s a Sherman.

I made up my mind while watching that I am going to stick with my office job. Cutting trees is too dangerous.
