As the title says, I'm trying to find the revell B-17F in 1/48 scale. kit #4701.
I've tried and give up on ebay, I hate that site anyway. So, I'm wondering if any of you guy's have one of these kit in a stash somewhere. Even if you have a half built junk one, I'll take it. Parts and pieces work too. Thanks in advance.

It doesnt really have to be the whole kit, I'd be happy just getting the fuselage and all the glass pieces for the nose. I'm trying to do a conversion from the F model nose to G model body to come up with a better F model. Anybody???

You may be more successful if you post this in the Aeroscale forums. That said i believe Lampie gave up on the kit you are looking for while building his spotted B17, which i believe should come with a health warning as it does strange things to your eyes.

Um......I thought this was the aeroscale forum. While I'm typing this, the header even says aeroscale.
The spotted B-17 is pretty cool.

This is ModelGeek which is a general modeling forum, your post is in the correct area however I just meant you may get more hits if you bring your request directly to the target audience

Hi.
The kit I binned was indeed the Revell B-17F but in 1:72 scale, hence I havent replied to this thread earlier
At least if Id built the "Cow" in 1:48 the spots would have been bigger
Good luck with your search.
It may be an idea to post your request in the WW2 or general aircraft forum on Aeroscale.
