This build is an absolute stunner to watch come together. It's going to be a shame to see all that brass painted. So shiny!
You are a very talented craftsman!

Again - such a joy to watch come together.
Have you already told us where this is going to find a home, is it a museum piece, commissioned piece, private piece?

Thanks all for compliments.
No museum and is not a commissioned piece, it's just for me.
This afternoon I've finished the little hatchet that will be placed on the right side of the gun-carriage.

Since joining the site this has been the most impressive thing i have seen on here and have loved watching it progress, the hatchet alone is a piece of art.

I second Steve's comment. I am absolutely in awe of your craftsmanship, artistry and skill. This piece truly deserves to be in a museum someday.
Well done.

I loved watching the build come together!! (you do realize that I now fully expect to see some equally magnificant follow-up). It is truly and outstanding piece. I'm torn between seeing all the beautiful brass or visualizing how it would look painted - you have a tough choice ahead of you.
Again, congratulations!!

As a tool maker and Engineer of sorts my self, let me just say that this has to be one of the most impressive pieces of engineering in miniature that I have ever seen.
I am impressed and inspired and completely blown away.
Congratulations on an amazing build.
Cheers,
Hugh
