Hello Chaps.
Reading through IPMS Stockholm, there are great threads and links from time to time and l thought anybody who hasn´t seen this, will enjoy it. Have no real interest in aircraft, but this is amazing!!
Thanks to Björn Backlund for the tip.

I'm in the same (flying) boat as you Frank; no real interest in planes but...
THAT is one amazing build!
When you see an everyday item like a chair and desk that has been reproduced in 1/48 in a plane and looks so good, your jaw drops! The radio sets, bulkheads, wiring, fantasttic!
Lighting? Spinning props? Gawd...
Thanks for linking, my gob has been smacked

Hi Guys.

I have shared emails with the builder of this work of art discussing how he has done this. He has been very helpful and willing to discuss his methods... Unfortunately, this was about two years ago and I do not have a contact for him anymore.

Cheers,

Hugh

WOW!!! your thread was nothing short of inspiring for me .. I really enjoyed it.. and it has triggered me to jump back on a scratch detail up project I put down in frustration (a cheap Revel Mi-24 kit in 1:48 that came with really poor cockpit and engine details..... I decided to scratch all of the interior and engines rather than ordering resin..... anyway thanks for the inspiration

After seeing this, I had to show it to my wife. Now she can't ever claim that I'm that crazy again. Absolutly fantastic work. Beyond my abilities or desires but man, what a piece of art work.

This thread is 4.5 years old, and there is still no part 4, so the chances of seeing it finished are small, unless somebody knows the modeller. Pity, as its such a fantastic build.

His email is on page 3 I believe. I emailed him and he answered some of my questions about his build. Didn't ask about a part 4 but if you feel so inclined I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Of course I only know him through that singular email so can't speak too much about him but he seemed like a nice guy.
