With the need for having to build something for part 5 of my Century Series features, I decided to get this F-104S out of the stash.
I fell in love with this paint scheme I had in a book and was very pleased when Hasegawa released it.
The markings are for a 50th anniversary for 22 Gruppo, 51st Stormo of the Italian air force (so one for Luciano I think ). The mice and cat is the badge of the unit and was applied only on one side of the aircraft with the other side still retaining its camouflage scheme.
The aircraft was painted with Humbrol enamels and took 5 days to spray ( they don't like drying to quick, so no speed building here then ) .

Great one Andy, is this 48th? I have one of the 72nd specials in the stash but after buying the 'Colori nel Cielo' book there are loads of colourful schemes that could be done, if only.

Ciao

Thanks guys. It will be at Cosford.
Its 1/48th and there is quite a few other schemes which I wouldn't mind building at a later date.
