Which is the best pencil to draw markings that will be able to be covered by paint for Camo
Like #1 #2 #3 pencil.

Jeff,
I've used a .05mm mechanical pencil in the past. Pretty sure the lead is equivalent to a #2? The .05 gives a nice thin line, no need to sharpen, and seems to cover up nicely with both enamels and acrylics. I do run my finger or a tissue lightly over the lines just to pick up any "excess" lead "dust"....no biggie if the line smears a tad....it can still be seen.
I've done this on a 1/35th A7V and a 1/25th JagdPanther.

Mechanical Pencils come in .03mm .05mm .07mm and .09mm (those are the most common Sizes) Now, as far as Lead Hardness:
