Hi Anthony,

I've used a few of the AV Model Air paints. Personally I think they're great. I used them directly from the bottle to the airbrush, no thinning required.

The only place where I can remember seeing them in Sydney was Avenue Hobbies, which sadly is now closed.

Frontline Hobbies in Newcastle have a handful of them listed on their website. http://www.frontlinehobbies.com.au/Shop/productList.aspx?categoryID=524&parentID=499&catName=ACRYLIC%20PAINT

I have several bottles, but am yet to try them out - I ordered mine from LuckyModel in HK at US$2.69 per bottle (plus shippig) - In the end (after shipping) it worked out to about six bottles for the price of four locally (local price is about AUD$5.95)

G'day Anthony,
Try Hobbyrama here in Brisbane. They have the full range and also mail order.
You dont need to thin Model Air. However if you want to airbrush Model Colour you can use the blue coloured "Windex" to thin it out. Same for cleaning your gun, just use the same Windex and then wash it off with water.

Cheers Jason

thanks Jason. Do they have a webpage?
I have used the Model Colour range for 40k mini painting before but thought it would be too thick to airbrush. I might give the windex a go. I am still interested in the model air range.

Have you used their gloss and matt varnishes?
