Hi guys,
I have seen somewhere an how-to article explaning how to build a tire from scratch but I can't found it .. Anyone have a link or anything explaning how to do that ?

Casper is the one to send a message to as he has a photobucket full of pics as to how to scratch the tyres and wheels.

Basically, laminating the plastic to the required thickness and diameter of the tyre and wheel. Fixing it through the centre to a drill and using that to spin it while you mill to the required shape using blades and files just like on a turning lathe.

Then cut the pattern of the tyre tread in a thin sheet of plastic and then wrap around the shaped tyre.

Once satisfied, cast and mould duplicates in resin.

He of course makes it look so simple. I have yet to try it for myself.

With the pictures from Casspir we can understand but what about the hub ??
