I'll be there at some point during the day on Saturday Tim, when is a little up in the air. I'm going to see my dad and I haven't decided whether to go early or late yet. It's sounding like it will be a good show from what little I've heard.

Tim,
I normally don't wear a cowboy hat unless I am riding up here in the mountains. If I get to come I will be taking a memory card full of pictures and doing an photo spread for the show. Right now my ability to come is up in the air.
PS
If I do make it. I will be the good looking tall guy with the fancy camera taking pictures. lol

Jeez Jim, except for the part about the fancy camera that's me too!!
Actually a good friend of mine is the "official" show photographer. I plan to let him do all the work and he's going to make me a CD with all the pics on it.
Cheers,
Mike

It is pretty much now official I am not getting to come down. A friend of ours passed away and the services are Sunday.
So, I guess my next time coming down will be for the IPMS Atlanta show in June.
Enjoy everyone!!!

Sorry to hear that Jim, my condolenses to you, and your friends family.
The June show should be a good one. We haven't had a local level show here since right before the '05 Nats, the last one was a corker. We had over a thousand models on the tables and the vendor room was very well stocked. From what I'm hearing this one won't be quite that big but it should still be a nice event, because of our central location here in the south we always seem to draw well. I'm sure I'll be working a shift or two somewhere in June along with just hanging out, so maybe I'll see you then.
Best,
Mike

Mike,
Thank you.
I am hoping to work up the nerve to enter something in the June show. I have no hope to bring down and major hardware, but it is always nice to see what people think of you work.
I am hoping to meet some of the Georgia folks down there then.
Enjoy this weekend and take care!
Thank you.

I'll definitly be at the June show.. I never get to travel to the out of state ones, so I really enjoy the ones we have..I did make the figure show today... got a PzIII J and my nancy callahan was all I had to enter, but meeting up with some folks was fun. Crazy Joes class was interesting too. I'll have my show photos posted up tomorrow.

Well, I woke up Saturday morning with a nasty head cold.
I went over to the show around 11:30 anyway because I was looking for some specific figures from the vendors. I ended up staying about 30 minutes. I saw some nice figs and "ordnance", as the figure guys call it
, on display, but no vendor had what I was looking for, so I headed out to go lay on the couch for the rest of the weekend.
I hope to see some of you in June!
Best,
Mike
