hello all
I am a frequent follower of this site and it is my principal source of inspiration for all my projects but I think it is time to start posting a few pictures for criticism and guidance so therefore I need a camera but due to resources I only have 300 ish Euros, obviously I need something for photographing detail. Any advice would be greatly appreciated .
cheers guys
i am currently building Italeris Staghound and trumpeters AS 90

When I got my new camera I consulted a friend who is a pro photographer. He reckoned to get the best canon or nikon in my budget as they have the best optics, this he claims is more important than the megapixels. I got a canon powershot, and I'm quite happy with it. It has pretty good automatic settings and you can also play about with different exposure and aperture settings too. I rarely need to but it can be useful esp if you want to do some depth of field tricks with close ups.
Would recommend the canon.
