Chip,

I have also seen this movie (Movie-nerd ), I don't think it's that good. It is worth the watching, but not more. I would say 4 / 10 in score.

I liked "The Relpacement Killers" much better. But I would take Mira Sorvino on her worst day over Bridget Fonda on her best day!

I found the movie horrible !
I went to see it at the cinema and I came out pissed off because seeing such a bad movie made me unhappy ! My problem is that I've already seen every scene in other movies, and I don't go to the cinema to watch compilations...
I was sad because I usualy realy enjoy Kung Fu movies, and I realy like Jet Li ! Simply I have the feeling that he's only playing in bad moving since he left China.
Now, when I see that a movie is produced by Luc Besson, I just pass my way.

Of course, this is only a very persomal feeling. I won't have any hard feeling against anyone who enjoyed the movie !

I have to agree, nothing special here. He's great but I like Jackie Chan better, and that ain't saying much.

Sorry, but Jackie Chan can't act in movies, I think. He is too, childish, in some way, I think.

Sorry Pen Pen, I have to use your phrase... ... With a little changing

Of course, this is only a very personal feeling. I won't have any hard feeling against anyone who like Jackie!

Chip,

If you want to get a good Jet Li movie, you have to get "Gei ba ba de xin" (My Father, the Hero) released in 1995. The kid in the movie steals the show though. Not sure if they have a US release of this.

If you want one of the best Martial Arts movies, get the original Iron Monkey or the Bruce Lee movie Return of the Dragon.

Samurai Movie? Any of the Blind Swordsman or Toshiro Mifune movies will do. Also, Seven Samurai or any Akira Kurasawa film.

Now, if you want one that mixes great comedy with martial arts and is the movie that started the whole Iron Chef craze, there is only one movie to get - God of Cookery. You will laugh and feel good at the end.

Finally, if you want pure athleticism, any Cirque Du Soleil dvd will do although it isn't martial arts.

Anyway, I am a better film watcher than modeller!!!!
