Ever wonder if these people really exist?
The ones you laugh about in the Darwin Awards?

Here are a couple of real cool idiots in the flesh.

Yes, that really is a electric power strip being supported on a pair of flop flops, in a pool of water, and yes that's the other end taped to a wooden door wedge!

The beer bottles look German to me, especially the one to the right of the electrical aplliance. What is that any way? A griddle? Bradwurst? The sockets look like Earthed sockets as used in the Netherlands, and Germany.
I can't believe anybody being this stupid.... but then again...

Cheers

This has to be a wind up. Nobody would be that stupid!

Surely...

Oh, there probably are people who would be that stupid, but I say this photograph was staged. Anyone who tried this for real would be electrocuted before they could possibly be photographed.

Don't try this at home boys and girls.

Can't be in the US, not enough warning labels on the electrical cords and grill. The last power strip I bought had a total on 6 warning/safety tags in 5 different languages about running the 4 foot cord under your carpet, and letting your children and pets chew on them.

Just had a look at a can of Tuna. (Out of curiosity and because I'm sad.. Okay!)

It says... "Allergy advice. Contains Fish!"

As opposed to.. Erm... Beef? Pork? Spinach?

Chines tattoos, classic. I recall another burk having a trendy foreign language tattoo to declare his forever love for his wife.... I believe he is now sulking that he has not been called for his 100th cap.

Thanks David

Like the guy in America (yep it could only happen in America) who sued the makers of a fine RV (Recreational Vehicle or campervan) and won!!!!!!!!!

His case was that having cruise control, the makers should have warned him in his vehicle manual that he could not go back and make himself a cup of coffee while on the motorway!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:o) Darwin theory winner

I am an electrician and I would have to say that that picture is staged. However you would be amazed at some of the stuff you see people do with electricity. So while the picture is a little unbelievable in its not far off in some aspects.

The scary stuff is seeing what maint. people do in factories, hospitals and schools etc.

It's even scarier when you find out they were following the supervisors' orders.
