A year or so back there was a thread of poor/odd weapons handling practices by African militia/rebels. It was 10 or so pics long with funny (to me) captions.

Did anyone save them?

Are you referring to the powerpoint presentation of the Liberian uprising in approx. 2004/5?

I'm not sure if it was Liberia, might have been.
But it was posted here as a series of images in it's own thread, not a Powerpoint.

Is that the one where one of the guys is wearing a life jacket while carrying a AK-47? Funny stuff. I would love to see that again too.

That's them!

I remember some of them, the batman RPG pic was one I was thinking of. The sprung magazine spring was new to me thought.
But for some reason I thought there were more.
And I thougth I remembered that at one point they were hosted here.

I had not seen the thread from mil photos, but the arguments there about finding the pics funny or not were funnier than I remember the pics being.

I was not laughing at the child soldiers, I was not laughing at the wig/drag wearing folks operating under a local cultural belief this made them harder for death to find, but I sure did find the odd poses and captions hilarious.

Glad he lives somewhere that he (and his kid) wont be doing that ever.

Question:
Why is the guy in the second photo carrying a feather duster?
