Traditionally, Torcan gets in the order of 450-500 models and several hundred people attending/entering. The vendors are all of the normal Southern Ontario stores & book sellers with about 1/3 to 1/2 being individuals selling collections. 50-60 vendor's tables are not uncommon, although several vendors take more than one table each.
We (Peel Scale Modelers) used to run Torcan each year and did for ages (15 or so years) but it burnt out the club and the individuals. For the last 10 years or so, it's been a case of whenever there are enough people with enough energy to run the show they do. It's usually every 2 or 3 years.
