I,m needing some advise on the best way to scratch build cam nets, I've been told it can be done .This is to go over an artillery gun it can,t be too thick but still look right.

hHi Sean. You may want to include the era (ie Vietnam, Modern, WWII, etc.) as well as the Nation supplYing the net. You may get a better chance at a reply...

the camo net is going over 105mm in a Viet nam scene.

Hi Sean,
What I've used in the past is some old bandage, not the fine threaded one.Next you just slowly tease it open until you get the required gap, dip it in a mixture of water and white glue stretch it open over your gun pit or vehicle with the supports let it dry and paint I've also used it as netting on helmets.
