Okay on the Tamiya Hetzer does somebody sell a mask to make the Round Camo?
This one

Or does somebody know how much to bump up the Scale to get It in 1/35 looks to be 1/76 scale or 1/48 Scale.

Thanks all

Jeff,

best I can tell ya bout that as far as I know.. noone has a mask out to sell... I did my hetzers somewhat close but not perfect to the box art by using 3x5 index cards and a hole puncher and just trimmed up the edges that were way too sharp, I would play around with it and see what you come up with.. also as I'm sure you know.. all camo applications were field done on these lil beasts so the range is limitless to your image of what it might be.

best of luck though.. oh an be sure that you fix the MG cause tamiya got it wrong lol

Funny that you mention this when I'm just about ready to look into this. At Echelon FD, we are going to offer custom masking service to the modelling community to tailor to specific needs. For the Hetzer, I'm hoping that this set becomes mass produced type so that the cost will be lower for all. The disc camouflage for the HG Panther G's side skirts will also be looked into since I have views of both sides! And as you've said, we'll have several scales to cover!

Now disc camouflages will be close to perfect!

Now Chris what is wrong with the MG?

I hear you on the Camo but have one that is by the Book.

Lawrence can I get a set by next week or so?

Jeff,

Tamiya did a great job on the kit, don't get me wrong, but the MG they provide is incorrect, every photo that I've found on the net and some old photos I've dug up all show that the MG on hetzer's did not infact have a stock on them, the kit provides an INF version 34/32, I can never get them right, but ever photo shows that there is no stock, only the buffer spring cap, since it was a remote weapons system, the stock would get in the way of it treversing*sp*... aside from that lil quirk I found the kit to be top notch and plan to build a few more in time, but will be changing out the MG on each of them lol ... hope this helps alil

Thanks Chris.
Will start looking for one now.
After looking at the kit one I guess just cut it behind the rear stock piece and save that $1.00 for a new one cause we all know can't just order that and will lead to a $50.00 order just for one machine gun .
