Been readin' the site for about a week or two now and finally decided to join. I've been into models off and on since I was really young, but only recently have started modeling "seriously", putting things together with precision, painting with cans or an airgun and so on.

I posted my two most recent works (in fact, the only things I've completed this year) in the General Modeling forum, so let me know what you think.

I've noticed this site has a very large emphasis on military hardware, primarily tanks and WWII-era aircraft. While not my thing (I do cars and trucks, and starting to branch out towards civilian aircraft and possibly ships), I do love to see the massive amounts of detail you guys put into the kits.

Welcome. You will find there are a lot of knowledgable, experienced modelerrs on this site that will be able to help you with just about any questions you may have.

Rule 2. Ask for help whenever you need it.
Rule 3. Don't be scared to take your modeling to the next level.

Check out the campaigns when you have a chance. They are a lot of fun when you find one you like.
