For those of you keeping track of these things, this fall our constitution required that we hold elections for two positions, 1st VP and Secretary. Well, as Boresight Editor, I must fall on my sword for forgetting to post the notice in the last Boresight. Because of that the timetable for the elections will be rather abreviated. So, the schedule is:

Nominations open as of right now.
Nominations close 20 Feb.
Ballots go out in the March Boresight.
Ballots to be returned no later than March 31.
Results announced at the AGM at the show, 11 April, 2008.

Potential candidates need to self nominate themselves and may provide a candidate's statement of no more than 250 words. Nominations may be via email to myself or Danny Egan through the AMPS website or by mail to the Society at our address of:

I will be posting candidate statements in the March Boresight. The incumbents, Roy Chow, 1st VP, and Kurt Laughlin, Secretary, have indicated that they will stand for re-election.
