In reply to some requests and questions I am asking the question ...
"Do you really want to ..turn something like this....?

Into something like this ........?

....then maybe I can help to answer some of your queries ?
I dropped a few line about doing some bits and pieces in an other 'scratchy' post asking about starting to scratchbuild..

If you can 'hang-fire' until after the "fire-fight fotrnight" I will ---(if Jim will let me steal some 'air') -----put some bits and pieces together to try and answer questions that I have been being asked about the mystical art .... ..Guess if this is read by anyone then I might have enough questions in my e-mail [email protected] ---------to do a mini series ---working on getting my vid-cam onto bench --- ...............but thats for later

At the moment I am up to my ears in tinsel and fairy-lights ....and shortly it will be .so time is on holiday
Need to go and dig out all my little snippets ....my file system is not the best ..................................................................[unquote]

There it is ---so its up to you to ask the question now ------
"Do "I" really want to scratchbuild

Have a MERRY XMAS ...ALL

I certainly would like to learn to at least do the basic shape of the vehicle. I don't expect to ever be able to scratch the whole thing with all it's details.

Consider the drawing I have included. Forget about the chassis and suspension. I would like to learn to at least be able to do the basic shape of the truck. How to figure measurements.. angles between sides.. how to do the engine hood.. stuff like that.

Same as me and Hisham were when you were going to do the Foden.

Hi there Steve

My wish list to Santa was posted up the chimney (OK emailed to you). It would be good to hear what other folks wish list on how to do to see what I should have been asking for.

By the way, with that beard and that figure of yours Steve, there is a passing resemblance to the red suited guy.

Blank cheque or blank DVD, which would you prefer???????

Seasons greatings to all on here!
