I love this movie. Any one else. It has Arnold and is full of action. Very good. Rent it if you have not seen it.

I think that the movie is quite... "B", as we says here in Sweden... "B" stands for budget (low budget movie), as this movie is made. Even if it's quite "budget" I think it is worth the rent for the video...

BTW:

"B" can also stand for "second class movie" - "A" is first class movie.

For a "B"class movie it was very novel,and entertaining,pure escapism,and fun.They had to go and spoil it by making Predator 2,but that's Hollywood.

Predator 1 was great, other than the sex scene in predator 2 (not just the sex guys...all those bodies getting banged and thrown around by the predator)..... stinko. i heard they were looking at a predator VS Aliens movie but haven't heard any rumblings about that in a long while

OHHHH my gosh! Soeone else here who loves Predator! Are you kidding, it is like my all time favorite movie! I have it on VHS and DVD, and I also have Predator 2 on VHS, and hopefully DVD.

The movie is the best sci-fi movie of all time!!

While I really like this movie, I think, as a whole, ALIEN is better. A tighter story line, less distraction, (i.e. the girl prisoner), more subltety in its goriness, (rarely do you actually see blood). In some ways, more realistic. I don't think anyone could carry the amount of ammo the minigun spouts along with the minigun, nor control the centrifugal action coupled with recoil. Also, the sets and the way the Alien mirrors them (thanks you Mr. Geiger) makes it a more visually interesting movie. Much as I like Arnold, the beating he takes and comes back from in an instant, is just too WWF, oops, I mean WWE toi be believable.
