Hi guys, I am visiting Chicago from Christmas day to the 27th, and I need to know what hobby shops are in the area. (preferably close to downtown... if possible) I don't want to go to a train store, a hobby town USA . I want to know where the real hobby shops are, you know the disorganized, cramped ones, with obscure models, and cool things I couldn't get online.
-Thanks

Venture Hobbies in Wheeling (the northwest suburbs) has a larger plastic model section than Al's. Al's seems to be going toward the motorized car and plane crowd.
