Greetings,

My name is Jerry and new to this forum. I live in Ohio and am an aircraft modeler. I'm thinking of streching out a bit, and try some ship building. Most of my family are all Navy Vets including my father who served aboard DE533 in the Pacific so I think it's time to build a ship or two. I'm goig to start the 1/35 Italeri PT boat soon.

Cheers,
Jerry

Jerry,
Permission granted. Welcome aboard and I hope you enjoy your time on the site and network. My dad also served in the Pacific on the Whiskey. Actually my step-father as well.

Cheers,
Jim

Welcome Aboard.
Always nice to see a new "bud"
I've sailed the seven seas on Whiskey, Scotch, and a bottle of Rum.... and a few other things.
Never got seasick, and did have a girl in every port.

Yes there were women, some looked like Yoda, and smelt like Cheetah, but the whiskey, scotch and rum made them all like Betty Grable, and your best friend was - Doc.

Hi Dave,
I'm afraid that one of them actually was Master Yoda. I've met him after my last heavy-drinking party and he confirmed...
We have a proverb in Poland that says: There are no ugly women - there is only not enough amount of vodka

Jerry,
Welcome - I'm here for about a week and it is a great place for every model maker.
See you on some campaign.

Welcome. You will find there are a lot of knowledgable, experienced modelerrs on this site that will be able to help you with just about any questions you may have.

Rule 1. Have fun.
Rule 2. Ask for help whenever you need it.
Rule 3. Don't be scared to take your modeling to the next level.

Check out the campaigns when you have a chance. They are a lot of fun when you find one you like.
