Good goo Matt - you nailed it. Thats a ton of good quality builds.

Makes me feel bad, I had a goal of 12 projects done. I'm sitting at 11 and I just don't know if I can get that last one done.

I feel like I kinda cheated too, some were 1/72 scale individual static stand alone projects.

A completed 1/72 build is a completed build in my book. No need to feel like you cheated. I forgot to add one too

but it has been posted eslewhere on the site. There's still time before the end of the year. I bet you can knock it out. I am still working on my "Finish-over-the-winter" pile which is also being used for the "Get it/er done" campaign. Hopefully I'll be able to add some more to the completed pile before the end of the year. Thanks for the kudos. "Q"

Barv what is the one fifth from the bottom? (Two above the trailer) Looks like it has some sort of giant fan on the tail end. Very interesting looking. Thanks for sharing your work. "Q"

This is my scratchbuild project for 2007.

A library.

Over 150 hours of work spread out over the last 6 months, but it's done and I'm in the process of loading her up with my book collection. It's the first time they've been out of boxes since I packed them over a year ago in preparation for the move to this new house. By the Christmas break, I'll be building again, with a Ram Kangaroo and a Big Gemini on the slips awaiting time to complete.

Hi Steve

That transporter looks great. What type is it and what is the scale? Have you done the tractor for it yet? December Clasic Military Vehicle has got a great article on a Leyland Brontosaurus or FV1000.

It looks massive on the back of a Leyland Crusader semi. One for next years list?

You guys have a build rate is just amazing

All the best

Nige

I'm just getting back into modeling after a long break (21 years). This is the first model I've made since 1986, and my only completion in 2007.

Revell 1986 Peterbilt 359

I managed to complete about 4 projects this year which I feel isn't bad for me
For some reason moved away from armour to try other things

Battleship Gneisenau (1/700 scale)

Battleship Graf Spee (1/700 scale)

Iwo Jima Dio (1/35 scale) not quite finished.

Hercules C Mk 1P Royal Air Force (1/200 scale)

Also made an attempt at scratch building doing some of the Kozma Minin Armoured Train (1/72 scale)

And what I hope it will look like

Also started scratch building the bridge for the Churchill AVRE
along with other figures (1/35 scale). So have some projects to finish next year .

I only got two finished in 2007, and both were finished in January.

I finished this M997

And I finished a 1996 Ford Explorer for my brother, unfortunately, I gave it to him without getting any pics.

Since the end of January I've stripped down and begun rebuilding my workshop. I should be moved back in by the end of the year and building again in '08.

Good lookin' meat wagon. Lord knows I've spent enough inside them. Two builds is better than zero builds. Good luck with the shop renovations. Will keep my eyes open for your builds in 08. Thanks for posting. "Q"

Well I got back into modeling after only a few years off... I am still trying to get the hang of things and it has been quite hecktic mixing school, work, and play together. Anyway, here they are:

Special Forces Dio: 'Muddy Grave'

Halftrack Campaign Dio: 'Where the Hell are we?'

Desert Fever Campaign LAV 25: Roughly modeled after my best friend's LAV from OIF... more rust on the real thing if you can imagine. They had it sitting in storage somewhere and forgot about it until they threw it into the melee... (Stole the quote on the mantle from an OIF hummer I saw; shhhh)

And the model that got me back into the game: gift from momma...

I also am finishing up a captured T-34 in German service, a Vietnam era gunjeep, and I just started my Marine M4 flame tank dio.

Merry Christmas everyone. I am looking forward to doing more in 2008!!
