Uploading reference photo's

I have a nice handful of reference photo's i've been trying to upload. It gets to the end and then pops up page cannot be displayed. Any idea's?

Where are you uploading it? The gallery or the support desk (NRC)?
It sounds like a timeout issue though. How large are the files?
