G'day all
school holidays are nearing for me and i will have some time to swing back into my favourite hobby. but the only daunting thing about it is covering the canopy before i spray my model. all i have is either glue tack or dodgy masking tape that leaves gaps because the ends fray or become loose. I cant find anny of that special eduard mask stuff and i cant seem to find tamiya tape either. what do you use for masking your canopy?

annything would be helpfull.
cheers

Hi James,

Maskol all the way !!!

Humbrol and gunzy have maskol and this is the best item on the market.

I found it has a very limited shelf life once opened and I have gone back to putting it in the fridge after I've used it.

It tends to bond up very quickly so if you venture into any of the hobby shops in sunny metro Victoria I'm quite sure they will have it .
I use a fine brush for small things like vision blocks on cupola's .
I used some gunzy maskol and it did the trick on the driver's, co drivers hatch's on my M40 today .

Cheers
Michael
