Hello all,

I'm a currently a resident of Virginia. I retired from the USAF a couple of years ago and I'm now a DoD Contractor.

Like many of you, I started doing models when I was relatively young, but when I left home to attend college modeling just fell on the wayside. At the beginning of this year, (poof) I got interested in doing military miniatures again. Don't ask why, it just happened. I signed up with this forum to learn from the experienced and get tips to enhance my own projects.

I look forward to participating in this forum!

I appreciate all the kind words; I have a few projects in the works. I’m doing Pilipili’s Kicking Bear, Harton’s Sioux Chief, and Young Miniatures’ Roman Signifier.

I’ll make plug for Mr. Phil Quinn, of Giffin Design Studio’s, in the UK, who was most helpful in getting my Harton figure delivered here in the States.

All these figures have exciting and different aspects to help me explore the different aspects of miniature painting.

I’m looking forward to participating in this forum, and I know I’ll learn much from the knowledge the membership has to offer.

V/r,

Mike
