Not sure if this has been discussed before but I wondered if anyone plays and WWII-themed tank games? I have played the original Blitzkrieg games more times than I care to admit.
Does anyone have their own favourites? Which games are the most accurate recreation of AFV combat?
Cheers

I like the Close combat series and I've briefly played Panzers Phase I, but I don't have a fast enough computer to support it!

Have you tried Blitzkrieg? It's a fantastic AFV game! You must try it!

Download and try "Steel Panthers, World at War." Huge download but it is one one the best games I have ever played and it is free.
Turn based, like a computer version of Avalon Hills "Squad Leader" series.

Combat Mission 2, Barbarossa to Berlin is really good. It'll run on almost any computer.

I second the vote for the Close Combat series games. They're like playing tabletop wargames without the quibbling over rules or LOS.
Battlefield 1942 is addictive too, although a lot of realism has been sacrificed for playability.

I agree. Cambat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin is an excellent strategy and tactics game for your PC.
